Success in LA

I started this journey in late 2006 when I stumbled across a post where someone was explaining how, in some cases, it is possible to obtain Italian citizen...

Switch to LA Consulate?

I am seeking advice on the best approach... here´s my situation... My douments were recently accepted by the Newark Consulate, but they are quoting a 2-3 year processing wait on their web site. I have recently relocated to the Los Angeles jurisdiction, so I could have them handled there instead. If ...

I never received the document (USCIS ultimately proved to faster in my case). Yes, I filed complaints with the BBB as well as the Attorney General´s office.

CD from FOIA

Hello, I received a CD from Lee's Summit with a .pdf of the certificate of naturalization and the NARA documents I had obtained earlier (petition to naturalize, and declaration of intent). In the same .pdf file, there was also an unnamed document which appeared to summarize the naturalization inform...

Unfortunately, there had been an error in processing my request. After originally offering me a refund, the owner changed his mind after reading a complaint I had posted. He said I ¨don´t deserve anything¨.

I will try the email approach. One rather amusing inefficiency I discovered was that when I called to check back in February, I specifically told them that I did NOT need a status letter sent to me since they already told my number over the phone. Despite this, they spent $11 to send such a letter t...

italiamerica.org

Hello all, I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to get through to italiamerica.org. I ordered a naturalization certificate from them about 18 weeks ago and have not received anything... and worse, I have sent about eight emails to them over the course of the last three months without a sing...

I called them again today (Feb. 14) and I am now at 28,600.
That is less than 5000 requests processed over the last six weeks. Things may be slowing down a bit there.
