Passport - Consulate

Does anyone know if you have to give the Consulate your passport when you present your papers for Dual Citizenship? I know they want originals of the documents but I was wondering if a colored copy of the passport will suffice? I need to my passport for business travels so I cannot really give them ...

Does anyone know how to present the documents WITH the Apostilles? Do you have to keep them stapled together? If they are separated but organized across from each other in a notebook, is this acceptable? How has everyone else presented their paperwork with their documents. I am presenting to the San...

I am presenting my papers at the San Francisco Consulate.
I thought perhaps there was a checklist. I know there was one on this site but I cannot find it now.

I am putting in my paperwork through the SF Consulate. They require a Apostille for all docs. I actually sent the original in the mail to the Sacramento office. And I received it within a month. They were very timely. I know that there are alot of consulates that need apostilles, some do not require...
