Re: New Info On SF Processing Times?

It is indeed a shame that the long wait times have returned. I wish all of those who are currently waiting a swift resolution. Just so there's no misunderstanding, and so no one feels they're crazy or spreading rumors: For a brief, shining moment during 2008, it was indeed possible to apply and rece...

penguin: I'm sorry if my post made you feel bad. It was never my intention to do so. Frankly, I'm as shocked as you that it happened so quickly. I spent four years collecting documents, ordering new whenever I could afford to do so. I was fully prepared to wait it out like everyone else. I can only ...

Pagliari - yjg means that you should send the letter by registered mail (i.e., certified mail, return receipt requested) to the clerk of the court that handled the divorce. The post yjg references, with text for such a letter, can be found at the following link: http://www.icgsmb.com/board/viewtopic...

Question re Name Discrepancies/Divorce/Translator in Seattle

I'm nearly finished gathering all my documentation, but I noticed a couple discrepancies on two documents (MGGF->MGF->M->ME). I would just like to get some opinions from others who are further along than I, or who have already finished the process, as to whether the SF Consulate might take issue: 1....
