I ran into the same issue... I was told from my consulate that my birth cert had been sent to the comune and it was basically out of the consulate's court... But if I wanted to progress this more quickly that I should speak with the comune in Sicilia ... message received.

Yep, Houston, there is a problem...

iverevi- the good news is they responded! even better, they responded with a date. They lost one of the BEST back in October. :cry: Maybe the backload is getting worked !?!

Houston Consulate

Any news as to what's going on with the Houston Consulate??? We hear that Susanna is leaving or has left. No responses, returned calls to valid issues and completed files since October... Should we be worried if they have our original documents?
