thanks very much for your help - my mother is going to apply as well so I guess she will need all the relative certificates. My main concern when I applied was that my mother & I will now how different surnames as she changed hers when she remarried. I don't want the consulate to have any excuse...

Help needed - questions on getting my Italian passport

My mum was born in Italy (1949) but naturalized under her father (as she was 3 on arrival in Australia). Her mother was never naturalized. Is she able to get an Italian passport? And if she does will that automatically mean that I am eligible to get one too? And if that is the case do I have to wait...
