Because of the voltage difference, I don't think the air compressor is a good idea to take, but my question is: will I find nails and fittings to fit my nail guns from the US to work in Italy. Any he...

Passport Success

I just picked up my passports from San Francisco yesterday, all went smooth and it only took 7 working days. I'm so excited. I have some questions though, I was told that when I go to Italy to visit next month to find a place to live I have to leave the US with my American passport and when I arrive...

Re: What to expect at Appointment in Chicago

My appointment took about an hour in Los Angeles. Make sure you have two copies of everything, Certificate, Apostille and translation. It saves them the time having to make the copies and possibly misplace your documents. Good luck to you, and let us know the outcome.

Re: Success!

To Avellinese & Christina,
I sent a private message to both of you, but the messages are still in my outbox. I just wanted to make sure you recieved them, and you did not think I was ignoring your messages. Giovanni

Re: Consulate says I don't qualify. I can't see why!

You qualify! Congrats. Which consulate told you that? Call another consulate or one of the many online dual citizenship companies for additional help. Hope to hear good news from you soon.

Success!

Two months to the day after my appointment I received my letter from the Los Angeles Consulate recognizing my Italian Citizenship. Rafaella was awesome, she answered all of my questions and was a pleasure to deal with. I couldn't be more excited. :D
