applying in Italy documents needed

I was wondering if anybody is currently going through (or has recently finished) the process of applying for citizenship in Italy. What did you turn in for your ancestor's naturalization certificate? Did you turn in the original? Did you get an apostille for it? How? Thanks for your help.

applying in Italy

Has anyone applied for citizenship in Italy or know how to do it? I have heard many contradicting things about the process. It has been such a nightmare wait here! I was told that it would probably be quicker to apply in Italy.

Thanks for your help.

applying for residency

I applied for residency at the local office in Italy. I don't know how it works when you buy property. I was there on a student visa and was renting a place.
