Hey there,

My mother has already had the interview at the Italian COnsulate in Buenos Aires, applying for Italian Citizenship via juris sanguinis (her paternal grandfather was born in Italy).

If she does obtain the Italian Citizenship, do I need to show my linkage up to my greatgrandfather or showing my linkage to my mom would be enough? I would be applying in Chicago (I'm a US permanent resident, Argentinian citizen).
