Great Great Grandfather, 1912 Law?

Postby pjwilcox » Wed Jan 25, 2012 6:46 pm

Hi all,
I am trying to apply through my Great Great Grandfather.
1884 - Born
1905 - Came to US
1910 - Had son, my Great Grandfather
1935 - Naturalized.
I am applying through NY embassy. Can I qualify with the 1912 law, any updates on that? How do I fill out the application, as it only let you fill in up to Great Grandfather?

Thank you for your help!

Based on the information provided you may qualify. The 1912 law is not a source of problems as your ancestor naturalized in 1935. What about your grandparent and parent? What are their years of birth and genders?

Just use two copies of the application and put the GGF on one page and all the other ancestors on the second.
