Proof of Naturalization

Postby TomassoB » Wed Nov 30, 2005 5:10 pm

I requested a search from INS for my great-grandfather's certificate of naturalization and they came up with what looks like a visa as well as a document that says "Naturalization Received Jan 24 1930". Is this sufficient proof of the date of his naturalization? If not, how do I get a copy of his Certificate of Naturalization? No one in my family has the original.

Thanks, Thomas
