Has any one heard of Simple track? I recived today my conformation of request for g639. It says my request is simple and will not require that i wait a long time for a response.( Could this be true/)

Many Thanks[/b]

I haven't submitted mine yet, but I have a lot of information about my grandfather's naturalization including dates and petition number. My guess is that when you provided specific details, it becomes easier for them because they know exactly where to look. Perhaps this is what it means. Sure hope so!!!! :)

I also received a letter that my request was on the simple track but it took almost 8 months to receive an answer back.

That 8-month time period doesn't bode well. I note that you can schedule an appointment and make your request personally. I wonder if that helps.
