Documents question

Postby MMonico » Tue Dec 08, 2009 8:34 pm

Hello All,

ok, I have gone to the consulate and presented all my paperwork. I called and talked to the person and they said everything was prepared and waiting to be signed by the consule, then it would be sent to Italy. My question is once its signed by the consule does that mean I have citizenship or does it have to be approved by the Italian commune?? Or is that just a formality? Anyone know the process. When does one recieve papers stating they have been given citizenship, before or after it goes to italy and comes back????
Thanks or the help
