Mother's Naturalization Papers -- Acceptable?

Postby pdg » Thu Nov 02, 2006 1:28 am

My citizenship will be passed from my mother, who was naturalized after I was born, and she's still living. She has her naturalization papers. Can I bring these as-is to the Consulate appointment?

I think it will be acceptable. It's my understanding that Certificates of Naturalization do not need to be apostilled or even translated.
