There is a company who you can pay 200 dollars who say they can retrieve your naturalization papers for your ancestor or a letter of non existence no record certirfied in 4-6 weeks through USCIS. I wanted to know If any of you have any experience with this. money is not the issue, it is the time and if this can be done by them in 4-6 weeks i will gladly pay upwards of 200 dollars. I am going on a long trip in two months where i will not be able to do anything for around 1 year from home. http://www.italiamerica.org/id6.htm

Judging by their website it seems like they just go through the US route but file the paperwork for you. I'am going to try to contact her and see if she can answer some of these questions.

I e-mailed Sandra Luciano, who is in charge of this service who gave me several references. She stated she would be putting them on her web-site for review. I contacted one of them who stated they got their "no record" letter in 3 weeks! It sounds too good to be true....

You pay using paypal.
Meaning if I am not satisfied, I can push for a refund from paypal. Love those disputes... =]

Im going to do it I think.

I've been impressed with the immediate responses I've received from Sandra and am seriously considering as well enlisting her services.

this is very good for me, as I can't even go through FIOA because of my lack of death certificate of my great-grandfather.

does anyone know if it is imperitive that I have this for the NY consulate. I can not find any way to find his death certificate...
