Did your paternal grandmother ever naturalize, if so, when? When was your father born?
If your father was born before 1/1/48, your grandmother could not have passed citizenship to him, and you would therefore not qualify jus through your paternal grandmother.
If your grandmother naturalized before your father's birth, she would not have been an Italian citizen at the time of your father's birth and could not have passed citizenship to him.
