SF: Request appointment in person?

Postby CappuccinoBound » Mon Dec 07, 2009 2:13 am

I was just recently referred to this website, and to this message board.

I gather from previous posts that some of you had difficulty getting an email confirmation back from the SF consulate, when you sent an email to the consulate confirming the appointment date that they were sent.

I live in the Bay Area, and could go to the consulate in person. Can one request an appointment in person, at the consulate? And if so, does one get a confirmation "in person" of the appointment date?

P.S. A cousin of mine successfully got his citizenship papers, but that was a couple of years ago. But I have enough info from him to know that I qualify.

In case anyone is interested, I answered my own question, but going to the San Francisco consulate, to see if it was possible to request an appointment in person. The answer is no. They only take appointment requests by email.
